Royal Party Invitation (Invitatie la o petrecere regala)
This is my second attempt on this card. I used just one stamp to make the background. Making it was very tricky because the card stock is silver coated and my pigment ink took a long time to dry. I smudged my first card, then tried to make a second one and smudged that too. What you are looking at is the second card. It still isn't perfect but I'm not making another one with this card stock. :) I might try on regular white card stock though as I really like it's royal elegance.
Meda, this is beautiful, as always! You don't like the embossed look? Just curious :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Manna, I do like the embossed look but:
ReplyDelete1. I don't have a heat gun so I can't emboss directly on my card with the iron I use for this technique
2. I don't know how to emboss a multiple stamped image: I stamp each image and emboss it,or stamp them all and emboss after that?
I could really use some advice on this.
Ohhhh, it's a beauty, Meda! When I have large areas to emboss, I sometimes do a few images at one time, or when possible, I emboss the entire area at once. I keep my heat tool moving in a sort of 'circular' motion all the time, so as not to scorch or overheat any particular area. I love silver atop silver. It's so very elegant!
