So I design wedding invitations. And from time to time I come across brides like Roxana who want it all: haute couture invitations. This means each invitation took over 1 hour to make and I can't remember how may hours (days) to design. But it was worth it, and now, 2 weeks after the wedding I can reveal these.
(Invitatii de nunta in stil "French couture". Imi cer scuze cititorilor in limba romana, dar timpul nu imi permite sa traduc intregul articol. Puteti folosi in schimb widgetul de traduceri de la google aflat pe bara din dreapta a blogului.)
Of course I made all the roses myself from gold ribbon.
And I love the off-white geese fearhers. They give a vintage French royal look. Can you imagine Marie Antoinette just by looking at them?
Each invitation was housed by a matching box in lilac with gold accents. The embossing is made with the Victoria folder from Provo Craft (one of my top 2 favorites).
Here's what you see when you open the box:
The invitation is a book-style card with the first page featuring the couple's engagement picture. Notice the outfits? Awesome, right?
Than the story begins...
And inside are all the details.
I have also designed matching table numbers, place cards, menus and table plan, but since it was a rush production episode, I don't have pictures of the finished items so I will have to get back with them later.
Gorgeous! Well done you! I can't wait to see the rest!
