Princess Miriam and the Poppy Forest

Painting Miriam's wall was one of the most relaxing things I did after my son was born. I call this "vacation".
I really need to get back to the basics and just paint or design for my own pleasure. This is great stress therapy.

  10. Wow!! this is amazing AND fun!! I love your other poppies too!! This is my first time on your blog: are you a Poppy person? (I love them: it helps that orange is my favorite color, and I live in CA. where it is the state flower and they come up on their own in the spring: what ISN'T there to love about poppies?!!!)
Have a great week, and thanks for the beautiful inspiration. (I came via the Craft's Meow),

  11. Thanks. I never thought I was a poppy person. This time it was my friend's daughter who chose them for her room. I went there prepared to paint fairies or princesses but I guess the girl has better taste :)
