Dentist Christmas Cards (Felicitari de Craciun pentru dentisti)

Do you know anyone crazy enough to hand cut 100 Christmas teeth? Hehe, you're right! That's me!!
Cunoasteti pe cineva suficient de nebun incat sa decupeze manual 100 de maselute? Hehhe, intr-adevar, eu sunt aceea!


So, on the sixth day of Christmas which turned out to be 3 full days, I made these cards for all the dentists working with a certain dental lab (50 cards). Tony is a nice guy and the dental work his lab makes exquisite, so I strongly recommend them.

Asadar, in a sasea zi de Craciun, care s-au dovedit a fi 3 zile pline, am facut aceste felicitari pentru totii medicii cu care lucreaza un anumit laborator dentar (50 felicitari). Tony e un tip dragut si lucrarile facute de laboratorul sau sunt excelente.



Cutting them was quite an easy task compared to cutting all those pieces of double sided foam adhesive and mounting the 3D images on the card fronts.

Taiatul imaginilor a fost floare la ureche pe langa taiatul spumei dublu dezive si montatul maselutelor pe felicitare.

Sunflower Wedding Invitation - the one that did not get picked (invitatie cu floarea soarelui -cea care nu afost aleasa)

Last weekend I had designed quite a few sunflower wedding invitations. There were 2 that I was almost sure Betty would pick from and I was right. Here I am showing you the one that did not get picked. I will not show you the other one until later (probably after the wedding). This way I insure that the invitations stay unique to the couple I designed them for.



Weekendul trecut am lucrat la cateva modele de invitatii cu floarea soarelui. Erau 2 dinte care eram sigura ca Betty va alege unul si am avut dreptate. Va rat acum doar modelul care nu a fost ales, celalalt urmand sa-l vedeti abia mai tarziu, probabil dupa nunta. Aleg sa pastrez astfel unicitatea modelelor alese de cei carora le fac invitatii.

The invitation samples for Cora are ready. I'm just waiting for her to see them first and then will post them here. I will have one last sunflower invitation to show you if I have time tomorow.

Modelele de invitatii pentru Cora sunt gata. Astept doar sa le vada ea prima si apoi le voi posta si pe blog. Mai am insa un ultim model cu floarea soarelui pe care il voi publica maine daca am timp.

Sunny Sunflower Wedding Invitation (Invitatie nunta floarea soarelui cu culori vii)

This is a design I worked a lot on. The bright colors are not my cup of tea and I also had to design the patterned paper.
La acest design am lucrat destul de mult. In primul rand culorile acestea vesele nu prea se potrivesc stilului meu si, in al doilea rand, am avut de facut si designul hartiei din interior.

Sheer Green Sunflower Invitation (Invitatie verde diafan cu floarea soarelui)

The paper is designed by myself. The envelope is handmade from vellum which seems to be at the top of my list for about a year when I made the invitations for Rebeca's wedding.

Designul hartiei imi apartine, iar plicul este confectionat manual dih hartie de calc. Se pare ca plicurile din calc sunt slabiciunea mea in ultimul an de cand am facut invitatiile pentru nunta Rebecai.

Sunflower Wedding Invitation (Invitatie de nunta cu floarea soarelui)

So the wedding season has started and I am in a very creative mood. Yesterday I design no less than 6 sunflower wedding invitations. Here is the first one.
Sezonul nuntilor a inceput, iar eu am creativitatea la maximul zilele acestea. Ieri am creat nu mai putin de 6 modele de invitatii cu floarea soarelui. Iat-o pe prima dintre ele.



The envelope is handmade from stripe patterned vellum. I repeated the sunflower motif from the invitation on the envelope as 3 D decoupage which makes it loook much more interesting.
Plicul este confectionat manual din hartie de calc cu model. Motivul floarea soarelui de pe invitatie se repeta si pe plic sub forma de decupaj 3D ceea ce-i da o nota mai interesanta.

Sunflower Watercolor Card (Floarea soarelui in acuarel)

This is my first watercolor card. I have tried watercolor pencils before, but this one is painted with classic watercolors. Conclusion: I preffer watercolors in tubes and I think you will be seing more of these cards.

Prima mea felicitare in acuarel. Pana acum am mai incercat creioane acuarel, dar imaginea aceasta e pictata cu acuarele clasice. Concluzia: prefer acuarelele in tub si cred ca voi mai face astfel de felicitari.

Imi place foarte mult rochia acesta, la fel cu toate celelalte lucruri pe care Kristina le propune in fiecare saptamana ca inspiratie. Abia astept sa vad ce va urma.



This week's Color Inspiration was the quickest card I made in a very long time.
I came home last night from helping a friend of mine who is a flower designer prepare the flowers for a weding. Wow! The bride's bouquet and her little daughter's came out so beautiful!!!! I hope I can share them later when I get some pics. Of course, the invitations are Handmade by Meda. I will show you those later.
Now back to this card, I was so happy I managed to post it before the deadline when I realized the deadline was before midnight on Thursday, not Friday. Well, I'll know that next week.

Felicitarea de saptamana aceasta a fost cea mai rapida pe care am facut-o in ultimul timp. Aseara am ajuns foarte tarziu acasa penrtu ca am ajutat-o pe o prietena sa faca buchetele si aranjamentele florale pentru o nunta. Buchetu miresei si al fetitei ei sunt superbe! Abia astept sa fac rost de niste poze sa vi le arat. Evident, invitatiile sunt Handmade by Meda. Voi publica in curand si imagini cu invitatiile.



Card recipe: Stamp set called "Beauty" from Close to my Heart Company. I have them from Manna. Ink: unknown brand from Germany. Dewert watercolor pencils for the faux stiched lines. Card stock: Fabriano white linen.

Frame Number 3 (Rama nr.3)

I know there should be a number 2 before 3, but I'll show that to you another time. This frame had to be done by tonight, so I worked on it all the evening yesterday. It was a total SUCCESS. Everyone who saw it liked it so much that I instantly got 4 more orders plus another 2 (I only charge the materials because I make them for friends). I like how it turned out too. I hope I'll have enough inspiration to make 6 more.



Stiu ca inainte de 3 vine 2, dar voi prezenta nr. 2 alta data. Rama din imagine trebuia sa fie gata pana in seara aceasta asa ca ieri dupa serviciu am lucrat toata seara la ea. Rezultatul a fost un SUCCES total. Toate prietenele mele care au vazut-o au fost impresionate asa ca am mai primit inca 4 comenzi imediat + 2. Si eu sunt incantata de cum a iesit. Sper doar sa am suficienta inspiratie pentru inca 6 modele.
