I still get e-mails from people who think the cuttlebug is my key to success.
Actually, back when I was 22 I realized making cards is the one thing that does not bore me, grabbed it and never looked back. 7 years later this is still true.
But today my intention is not to tell you about myself. Today I want to let somebody else speak to you.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, such wisdom, Meda!
I've been learning the same here in Texas ... fitting "what I love" into who I am ... and what makes me happy. I wish I had had such insight while my two children were still young like your darling son.
Inky ((((hugggssss)))).

Oh to be that ideallic but life sometimes has a habit of getting in the way.
Not everyone can become who they want or do what they want in life and my favorite saying is "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade!".

Right! I was 22 when I finally discovered my "lemons". But I strongly advise anyone to do what their heart tells them to, even if later in life, even just as a hobby.
hi meda,
really inspired by you. I really love craft but i'm an engineer. haha. But doing something we love is much much happier and will have a lot of passion and will never get bored. thinking of resign as an engineer...and do crafting seriously

There area lot of examples of people who quit their daily jobs for their own handmade business. Have a look on etsy.com for their life stories. They are really inspiring.
