Woodsy Creatures - Be Inspired #39 (Vietuitoarele padurii)

I am thrilled to showcase another Provo Craft embossing folder being released for CHA - the Owl Flourish Folder!

I gotta tell you the new folders are wonderful! The improvements they have made, the embossing is deeper and the lip on the top is narrower.

Wanna win some of the folders going to CHA?

It's easy! participate in all 4 challenges for the month of July to be entered in the drawing if any given week we get over 200 participants each week, we will up the ante and give more new folders out! go on tell your friends and enter to win that easy!

So what is the challenge for this week?

This week challenge is to create a woodsy outdoor project, using woodsy animals (except for snakes) using twigs, pebbles anything from nature..

We have a fun colour combo for you as a component for this week. At least it was fun for me because I am not a fan of brights and bolds so you can only imagine....

Post your project on your blog or any online gallery (keyword is: CBI39), then Go to Cuttlebug Challenge Blog and leave a link to it.

The card is for a dear friend in Canada. It was her birthday yesterday so I made the card with her in mind. She also likes these colors more than I do, so Val, I hope you like it.

The box is for me. Finally something for me! I never have time to make pretty things for myself. This is the box where I keep my hair accessories. I got it long ago from my mother-in-law and it needed a make-up. At first I wanted to paint it all on the outside, but then I liked it with just the owl design on top so I decided to leave it like that.

I really love how it came out and I think this could be easily reproduced to make gift boxes for friends.

Jewelery Box (Cutie de bijuterii)

I showed my webshots gallery to a co-worker. It seems these jewelery boxes are really appreciated as the next thing she did was to order one as a gift for her friend.
I wish I had had more time to work on it as I wasn't 100% happy of the result. Only when I took this picture did I realise what was missing: a jewel on top. I don't have a proper picture of the final result, but I you can get the idea anyway.
