I gotta tell you the new folders are wonderful! The improvements they have made, the embossing is deeper and the lip on the top is narrower.

This week challenge is to create a woodsy outdoor project, using woodsy animals (except for snakes) using twigs, pebbles anything from nature..We have a fun colour combo for you as a component for this week. At least it was fun for me because I am not a fan of brights and bolds so you can only imagine....

The card is for a dear friend in Canada. It was her birthday yesterday so I made the card with her in mind. She also likes these colors more than I do, so Val, I hope you like it.
The box is for me. Finally something for me! I never have time to make pretty things for myself. This is the box where I keep my hair accessories. I got it long ago from my mother-in-law and it needed a make-up. At first I wanted to paint it all on the outside, but then I liked it with just the owl design on top so I decided to leave it like that.
I really love how it came out and I think this could be easily reproduced to make gift boxes for friends.
