I used the Floral Screen cuttlebug folder to create the stripe behind the label. Don't you think the embossing looks just like strawberry vines and sepals?
Pentru banda verde din spatele etichetei am folosit Floral Screen cuttlebug folder pentru ca semana foarte mult cu crengutele si sepalele de capsun.


The design team was given the extra challenge of using Marks Paper Company in addition to our cuttlebug.

Noi cei din echipa de designeri am primit o provocare in plus, si anume sa utilzam pentru aces proiect, in plus fata de cuttlebug si hartie de la Marks Paper Company, sponsorul de saptamana acesta.


I used the digital patches from their website and some of my own watercolor strawberry images to create this hybrid project.

Eu am ales hartia digitala, am combinat-o cu niste capsuni pictate in acuarela pentru a decora acest borcan cu dulceata de capsuni.


It is SWEET (the homemade strawberry jam which is my DH favorite) and it is related to our new HOME where we are going to move in May. My wish is to make labels like this for all my homemade jams. Maybe I should make them now because I won't have time then.

Se incadreaza in tema pentru ca este atat dulce (SWEET) cat si legat de casa (HOME). Dorinta mea e sa imi decorez toate borcanele cu gem de casa in felul acesta. Ar trebui sa fac etichetele din timp pentru ca sigur nu voi mai avea timp mai tarziu.

Sneak Peak on Cora's Wedding Invitation (Privire pe gaura cheii la invitatiile de nunta ale Corei)

He is aDJ, she likes butterflies and I am making their wedding invitations. Yupeeee!
I don't think I can explain to you how deep involved I am in this design. When I design a wedding invitation I feel like designing for my own wedding and the feeling of the artist creating a work of art adds to that feeling. So I can say I have really found my way in life and that is designing wedding invitations.

El este DJ, ei ii plac fluturasii, iar eu le fac invitatiile pentru nunta. Yupeeee!
Nu cred ca pot sa va explic cat de implicata sunt in acest design. Cand lucrez la un model de invitatii o fac precum pentru propria-mi nunta. Adaugati la asta sentimentul artistului lucrand la o opera de arta si s-ar putea sa aveti tabloul complet.


Have I ever told you why I ever went to art school almost 2 years ago? Because I wanted to make possible any bride's fantasy when it comes to wedding invitations. I still don't have much time to put all my ideas to life, but they are waiting patiently until their master can release them ti the world :)......that was the fantasy Meda speaking. You should see me dreaming eyes open at a world of fairytale and it's early morning too!

Nu cred sa va fi spuc vreodata de ce m-am inscris la scoala de arte in urma cu aproape 2 ani.
Am facut-o pentru ca imi dorem sa pot crea orice invitatie si-ar dori vreo mireasa. Nu am timp acum sa-mi scot toate ideile la lumina, dar ele asteapta acolo linistite pana cand stapana lor va fi gata sa le faca cunoscute lumii..... zise Meda cea din lumea basmelor ! :) Ar tebui sa-mi vedeti mutra visatoare... desi e cam dimineata pentru basme cu zane.

Sheer Green Sunflower Invitation (Invitatie verde diafan cu floarea soarelui)

Here is another sunflower wedding invitation and inspiration board. I think this is my favorite.
Iata un alt model de invitatie de nunta cu floarea soarelui. Cred ca acesta este preferatul meu.



The paper is designed by myself. The envelope is handmade from vellum which seems to be at the top of my list for about a year when I made the invitations for Rebeca's wedding.

Designul hartiei imi apartine, iar plicul este confectionat manual dih hartie de calc. Se pare ca plicurile din calc sunt slabiciunea mea in ultimul an de cand am facut invitatiile pentru nunta Rebecai.

Valentine-A Different Kind of Love (Valentine's Day o altfel de iubire)

This week's theme for CUTTLEBUG BE INSPIRED #17 was LOVE.
Tema acestei saptamani pentru CUTTLEBUG BE INSPIRED #17 este IUBIREA.

My first thought was: heart, love birds....
Then I said: NO, that is too common, I need something more personal. So I tried to define what love means in my life. I wrote my definition on a piece of paper and went to bed.
That was when this card idea came to me: I suddenly realized I knew about LOVE that was GREATER THAN ALL.

Primul lucru la care m-am gandit a fost: inimioare, pasarele indragostite....
Apoi m-am gandit ca ar fi mai bine sa fie ceva mai personal, cum ar fi o definitie a iubirii prin prisma experientei mele. Mi-am notat definitia pe o bucatica de hartie si am mers la culcare.
Inainte sa adorm insa, in inte mi-a rasarit un gand: Cunosc o IUBIRE care LE INTRECE PE TOATE.

The word art is done by myself (actually it is my first word art) on the computer and printed. I enjoyed making it tremendously since there were holy words I was typing, I guess. Therefore I thought I should give you the opportunity to enjoy these words yourself.

I printed mine 10 cm (4 inch) wide, then cut it out with my manicure scissors.

The initial label template is from Mel Stampz but I edited it to have double border.

The rose buds are a gift from my friend Angie. Thank you, Angie! They arrived at the perfect time. I will send you a bigger thank you soon :)

The craft paper is recycled from a gift wrapping paper tube. I will have another project to show you this week using the same paper and texture, so be sure to ad me to your blogroll/follow.

I haven't posted anything for a long time and I am still very busy making invitations after work. Still I wanted to show you the blog banner I made for Lindsay, the winner of the last Royal Chocolates. You can also see it online on Lindsay's blog.

Nu am mai publicat nimic de multa vreme si sunt in continuare foarte ocupata cu invitatiile pe care le fac seara cand ma intorc de la birou. Totusi, doream sa va arat banner-ul pe care l-am facut pentru blogul lui Lindsay, castigatoarea ultimului joc Ciocalata Imperiala. Puteti sa-l vedeti si online pe blogul ei.

New Look and... "Royal Chocolates" (Un now look si "Ciocolata Imperiala")

Many of you have noticed my blog has a new look. This Royal Red is my favorite color when it comes to design. I think it's the most elegant color. Actually I didn't plan for the new look. I stumbled upon this background on my computer while searching for some sort of a swirl to make a background paper for the wedding invitations I'm designing at the moment. I tried the background on the blog and...wow! ... I suddenly felt like changing my blog aspect completely. It was all done in 1 hour.

Now what about the "Royal Chocolates"? Well, I love my new blog so much that I have decided to give one of you the chance to change your blog's looks. I wanted to call it "Blog Candy" first but then I thought: "Hey, that name doesn't match your new look!" and changed it. Why "Royal Chocolates"? Because I love fantasy and I love stories about princesses and castles and noble heroes and this blog is the place where I can be just that and leave out reality :)
Here are the details: You have to leave a comment to this post and tell me 2 things:

Imagine din Google Cache a vechiului design

Multi ati observat probabil ca mi-am schimbat design-ul blogului. Totul s-a datorat imaginii pe care o vedeti acum in background si pe care am gasit-o intamplator pe calculator in timp ce cautam niste inflorituri pentru invitatiile la care tocmai lucrez. Am incercat noul background pe site, mi-a placut, si intr-o ora am adus design-ul la stadiul in care este acum.

"Ciocolata Imperiala" este denumirea pe care i-am dat-o eu faimosului "Blog Candy" si are legatura cu pasiunea mea pentru fantezie: povesti cu printese, palate si razboinici.
Iata detaliile: Trebuie sa faceti un comentariu la acest articol in care sa precizati 2 lucruri:
#1. Ce parere aveti despre noua "'faţa" a blog-ului meu? (sincer)
#2. Care este blogul al carui design va place cel mai mult? (orice blog de pe internet)
Ce castigati?
Voi folosi un generator de numere aleatoare ca random org pentru a desemna un castigator duminica la ora 7pm GMT (10 seara ora Romaniei). Acesta va primi un header nou nout pentru blogul sau. De asemenea, voi ruga castigatorul sa-si posteze insigna Royal Chocolates pe blog pentru a-mi credita design-ul. Detaliile le vom stabili dupa.
